Amanda Serrano to make unified featherweight title defence on May 30 bill topped by Stephanie Han vs Holly Holm rematch

Amanda Serrano will return to the ring on May 30 at the El Paso County Coliseum in Texas.

She will defend her WBA and WBO titles against Germany's Cheyenne Hanson on the same bill as Stephanie Han's rematch with Holly Holm for the WBA lightweight title.

Also on the bill, Desley Robinson puts the IBF and WBO middleweight titles on the line against Mary Spencer while Yokasta Valle moves back to light-flyweight to box Lourdes Juarez for the WBC title.

"I respect every opponent who steps in the ring, and I know Hanson is coming to win and she has KO power," Serrano said.

"I'm also continuing to hunt the all-time knockout record, so that's always on my mind, but everything starts with discipline, execution, and performing at the highest level on fight night.

"Stephanie Han is all class, and it is my pleasure to come to her city and make the walk before her on Saturday May 30. See you soon El Paso."

Serrano is the first-ever Puerto Rican undisputed world champion and the most decorated fighter in women's boxing history.

She fought Katie Taylor in one of the sport's most high-profile trilogies.

Serrano made a long-awaited homecoming to Puerto Rico in a unified featherweight title defence in January, defeating challenger Reina Tellez.

"I'm really excited and grateful for this fight," Hanson said. "It means a lot to be representing Germany on this stage. Training camp is going to be hard but I'm focused. I respect my opponent, but I'm coming to make a statement."

Joining the card will be MVP's and Mexico's WBC, WBO and WBA contender Yesica Nery Plata, who will face California's Brook Sibrian in an eight-round light-flyweight bout.

Boxlab Promotions' Reina Tellez also features on the bill in a 126lbs bout, while MVP's Miranda Reyes takes on Camilla Panatta in an eight-round lightweight bout at 135lbs.

MVP's unbeaten contender Jocelyn Camarillo returns to action against Mexico's Yazmin Martinez in a six-round light flyweight bout at 108lbs and MVP duo Iyana "Roxy" Verduzco and Elise Soro will showcase their skills against opponents, who are yet to be confirmed.

They are joined by MVP's Alexis "Chop Chop" Chaparro versus Edward Ulloa (15-7, 12 KOs) in eight-round middleweight bout and MVP's Alexander "The Alley Cat" Gueche against Texas prospect Joshua Montoya (7-4-2) in a six-round super bantamweight bout at 122lbs.

Rounding off the card will be WBA and WBC contender Nazarena Romero, who will soon learn her opponent for an eight-round super bantamweight bout, while Albina Moldazhanova faces Claudia Herrera in a six-round super lightweight bout.

Nakisa Bidarian and Jake Paul, co-founders of Most Valuable Promotions, said: "This event is the embodiment of everything we set out to build with MVPW and El Paso is the perfect home for it as this event will be 100 per cent sold out.

"Two current top ten pound-for-pound fighters and four world title fights with Amanda Serrano, Stephanie Han, Holly Holm, Desley Robinson, Lourdes Juarez, and Yokasta Valle all sharing the same card. That doesn't happen anywhere else.

"Beyond the main event, you have Mexico's top contender Yesica Nery Plata returning as one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in the world, Reina Tellez first fight since her inspirational performance against Amanda Serrano, Miranda Reyes stepping up again after testing two world champions, Elise Soto, Alexis Chaparro, and Alexander Gueche continuing to climb, and the promotional debuts of Jocelyn Camarillo and Roxy Verduzco. Saturday, May 30th, El Paso, live on ESPN."
