Kerr set to leave Chelsea this summer

Sam Kerr will leave Chelsea when her contract expires this summer.

Kerr is the all-time leading scorer in the Women's Super League and is one of the most iconic figures in the women's game.

The Australia forward has also scored 115 goals in 177 matches in all competitions for Chelsea since joining the club six-and-a-half years ago.

She is one goal behind Chelsea's all-time record goalscorer Fran Kirby - and has the chance to match and eclipse the scoring record in her final game for the club against Manchester United on Saturday, kick-off 1pm.

During her time in west London she has helped the club secure five WSL titles, three FA Cups, three League Cups and the Community Shield.

Speaking in a statement confirming her departure, Kerr said: "When I reflect on my Chelsea career and doing it for the last time [against Manchester United this Saturday], I just feel happy.

"Happy that it happened, and I feel so grateful to have played for this club for six years and won as many trophies as we could."

Ancelotti renews deal as Brazil head coach

Carlo Ancelotti has renewed his contract as Brazil's head coach until the 2030 World Cup.

The 67-year-old was appointed to the role in May 2025.

Speaking in a statement confirming his new deal, Ancelotti said: "A year ago I arrived in Brazil. From the first minute, I understood what football means to this country.

"For a year, we have been working to take the Brazilian National Team back to the top of the world.

"But the CBF and I want more. More victories, more time, more work."

'PSG among clubs interested in Fernandes'

Paris Saint-Germain are among the clubs interested in West Ham midfielder Mateus Fernandes, according to The Athletic.

The 21-year-old has impressed since joining from Southampton last summer for 38m, scoring five goals and providing four assists across 40 appearances this season.

Your Site News reported earlier this week that Manchester United have stepped up their interest in Fernandes.

Fernandes, who signed a five-year deal with the option of a further year, reportedly does not have a release clause in his contract.

Slot confident of remaining Liverpool head coach

Arne Slot says he has "every reason to believe" that he will remain as Liverpool head coach next season.

Asked about the speculation around his future and if he could confirm he was staying, Slot said: "I don't think I am deciding that myself alone.

"I have every reason to believe that I am the Liverpool manager next season.

"First of all, I am contracted to this club, and second of all from all the talks we are having."

'Even 100m would not make us sell Kroupi Jr'

Bournemouth head of football operations Tiago Pinto has rubbished suggestions their young striker Eli Junior Kroupi could leave the Vitality Stadium this summer, saying even a bid of 100m (86.6m) would not be enough to tempt the Cherries into a sale.

The 19-year-old French striker has enjoyed a dream opening season in England, netting 12 league goals, and last week joined Robbie Keane and Robbie Fowler as the joint all-time top goalscoring teenager in their debut Premier League campaign.

Speaking to Saudi outlet 365Scores, Pinto said: "Kroupi Jr will not be leaving the club. His contract is for more than four years, there is no release clause in the contract, and he will not be going anywhere.

We will not sell Krupp even if we receive offers of 100m."

'Roma trigger permanent deal option for Malen'

Roma have activated the buy-clause inserted in Donyell Malen's initial loan move from Aston Villa, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The Serie A side signed Malen in the January transfer window on loan with an option to buy the Netherlands striker.

According to Sky in Italy, Roma paid a loan fee of 1.7m and then would pay 21.6m when it became permanent.

Reports have now stated that the clause will be activated after the club secured European football next season.

Malen has scored 13 goals and added two assists in 16 Serie A appearances since joining the club.

'Man Utd want minimum of five summer signings'

Manchester United want a minimum of five summer signings, according to The Sun.

It is claimed that Man Utd's intention is to bring in three central midfielders, a left-back and a back-up striker.

A deal for a third midfielder would reportedly need to be financed by the sale of Manuel Ugarte.

The report also says a new No. 2 goalkeeper could be brought in to back up Senne Lammens.

It is also claimed that the Old Trafford side are primarily targeting players aged between 22 and 26.

Your Site News understands Man Utd want to sign at least two new midfielders this summer and are currently working on a shortlist of several leading contenders

It is understood that Man Utd have stepped up their interest in Atalanta midfielder Ederson and West Ham's Mateus Fernandes.

Elliot Anderson, Sandro Tonali, Alex Scott, Adam Wharton, Calos Baleba and Joao Gomes are names on Man Utd's longlist.

Man Utd step up interest in Ederson & Fernandes

Latest from Your Site News' team of reporters:

Manchester United have stepped up their interest in Atalanta midfielder Ederson and West Ham's Mateus Fernandes.

United want to sign at least two new midfielders this summer and are currently working on a shortlist of several leading contenders.

The aim is to position themselves to make an offer once their preferred targets come into focus and the current variables play themselves out.

In that vein, United will not give up on Nottingham Forest's Elliot Anderson, but the increasing likelihood that he ends up at Man City means work has intensified on other players - and Ederson and Fernandes are high among them.

Ederson had looked destined for Atletico Madrid but a pivot from the Spanish club towards Wolves' Joao Gomes - another name on United's radar - in part because of the financials involved, has opened the door for United and other clubs on the Brazilian.

Reports of an agreement on personal terms between Ederson and United are not accurate, however, Your Site News has been told.

Fernandes too has impressed United this season along with a number of other clubs, and if West Ham are relegated - as they are 85% likely to do according to Opta - then it will be clearer how gettable he is and how much he will cost.

Brighton's Carlos Baleba also remains a top target for United and a lot of work on him has already been done, with Your Site News revealing their intent to try and sign him in January.

One source claims United would be keen get him in before the World Cup.

Aurelian Tchouameni also remains a player of interest to United but there is much still to play out at Real Madrid despite his clash with team-mate Federico Valverde, including the increasing likelihood of Jose Mourinho's arrival as manager.

Other names on United's longlist include Sandro Tonali, Adam Wharton and Bournemouth duo Tyler Adams and Alex Scott.

Younger prospects include Lille's Ayoub Bouaddi and Olympiakos player Christos Mouzakitis.
